We understand that plans change. This policy applies to confirmed Swypt Visits. A Booking Request that has not yet been confirmed is not a confirmed appointment.
Simple rule: More than 24 hours before a confirmed Visit, cancel or reschedule at no charge. Within 24 hours, Swypt may charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total.
You may cancel, reschedule, or skip a recurring Visit without a cancellation or rescheduling fee when the request is received more than 24 hours before the confirmed Visit.
If you cancel, reschedule, or skip a confirmed Visit within 24 hours of the Visit, Swypt may charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total. This reflects reserved Cleaner capacity, scheduling impact, and lost availability. Swypt may waive or reduce the charge when circumstances warrant.
If a Cleaner arrives for a confirmed Visit and cannot reasonably access or begin service because the property is inaccessible, access instructions are missing or incorrect, or the Client is unavailable when needed, Swypt will make reasonable attempts to contact the Client and resolve the issue.
The Cleaner will remain available for up to 15 minutes while those attempts are made. If access is still unavailable, the Cleaner may leave and Swypt may charge up to 100% of the scheduled Visit total. A clear Client-caused no-access/no-show will normally result in a 100% charge. If the failure was caused by Swypt or the Cleaner, the Client will not be charged for that no-access event.
If the home is materially different from the information used to price the Visit, Swypt may contact the Client with options, including an adjusted price, a limited scope at the original price, rescheduling, or cancellation. If materially inaccurate or omitted Client-provided information makes the Visit unworkable after the Cleaner arrives, Swypt may charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total.
Swypt may stop, decline, reschedule, or cancel a Visit if the Cleaner encounters unsafe, hazardous, biohazardous, or prohibited conditions, including significant bodily fluids, feces/urine contamination, biological waste, sharps, decomposition, significant mold, active pest infestation, hazardous substances, hoarding-level conditions, excessive animal waste, or unsafe property conditions.
If such a condition existed before arrival and was not disclosed by the Client, Swypt may charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total. Swypt may waive or reduce the charge based on the circumstances.
If a Client-controlled issue—such as an unsecured unsafe pet, lack of essential utilities, unsafe temperature/air conditions, undisclosed parking/access requirements, or another property-readiness issue—prevents the Visit from reasonably proceeding after arrival, Swypt may cancel the Visit and charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total.
Swypt may end a Visit immediately because of harassment, threats, discrimination, intimidation, sexual misconduct, abusive behavior, illegal requests, or other unsafe conduct. If the cancellation is caused by the Client after arrival, Swypt may charge up to 30% of the scheduled Visit total.
Recurring service has no separate termination fee. You may end recurring service at any time. If the next confirmed Visit is already within 24 hours, that Visit may still be subject to the late-cancellation charge above. A one-time reschedule does not automatically change the normal recurring pattern.
If Swypt cannot provide a confirmed Visit for reasons within Swypt’s control, the Client is not charged a cancellation fee for that Visit. Swypt may work with the Client to reschedule. A change in assigned Cleaner does not itself constitute cancellation if Swypt can still provide the confirmed service.
Cancellation, rescheduling, no-access, and condition-related charges are subject to Swypt review rather than blind automatic assessment. Swypt may reduce or waive a charge when circumstances warrant.
